How to use this checklist

  1. Edit the tasks to match the site's scope of work. Delete what you don't do; nobody should sign off work that was never scheduled.
  2. Print one sheet per area and post it where the work happens. Daily sheets last a week, weekly sheets a month.
  3. Have the cleaner initial each box as they finish. A supervisor spot-checks and signs the bottom.
  4. File completed sheets by site. When a client asks "was it done?", the answer is in the folder.

Tips from the field

  • High cleaning needs a lift, a permit and a lockout plan: schedule it as its own quarterly line.
  • Spill response is a safety record, not just a cleaning task; log what spilled and what was used.
  • Use the ISSA Cleaning Times production rates to work out how many labour hours the daily route needs.
