How to use this checklist

  1. Edit the tasks to match the site's scope of work. Delete what you don't do; nobody should sign off work that was never scheduled.
  2. Print one sheet per area and post it where the work happens. Daily sheets last a week, weekly sheets a month.
  3. Have the cleaner initial each box as they finish. A supervisor spot-checks and signs the bottom.
  4. File completed sheets by site. When a client asks "was it done?", the answer is in the folder.

Tips from the field

  • Split the daily list into opening and closing so day staff and night cleaners each know their half.
  • Wet floor signs during trading hours are a safety item: add them as their own line.
  • Photograph the floor after each periodic job; it settles disputes when the lease ends.
